Partner -2007 – David Dhawan

This is typical David Dhawan fare; an awful script but great songs. I wouldn’t recommend it, unless you want to watch Govinda shaking that booty, and Salman flaunting his body! But, this is a reel feel good film for all the family.  Neha Kumar

Rang de Basanti – 2006 – Rakesh Omprakash Mehra

Five friends, who are revolutionary fighters, are caught up in the battle to free India from the British Raj in the 1920s. They extend the struggle to fight corruption and for a new and better way of life. A very powerful movie. Neha Kumar

Race – 2008 – Abbas, Mastan

Race is one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. A flawless story unveils a litany of suspenseful moments. Saif-Ali Khan and Akshay Khanna are at their best – 10 out for 10 for the script. Neha Kumar.

Jodha Akbar – 2008 – Ashutosh Gowariker

A masterpiece portraying the life of Akbar, the legendary Mughal Emperor, and his marriage to his Hindu-wife Jodha Bai. Aish looks stunning in her some 100 kgs of Tanishq jewelery. At more than three hours long it’s one to watch, once. Neha Kumar.

Vivah – 2006 – Sooraj R. Barjatya

A simple, honest and graceful movie. While some may complain that this movie is sickly sentimental, I thought it beautifully reflects India’s culture and traditions in a touching manner. Maybe women would enjoy this more than men as it’s a regular family drama! Neha Kumar

Welcome – 2007 – Aneez Bazmee

Welcome is a rubbish comedy, which inexplicably topped the box office charts. Am I completely wrong, or is there something seriously something wrong with our Bollywood audience, who are willing to endorse a nonsense film like this? Welcome is guilty of gross overacting and nothing seems natural about this movie. It simply sucks! Neha Kumar

Aaja Nachle – 2007 – Anil Mehta

images.jpgMadhuri Dixit makes a neat comeback but despite her flawless performance, this movie lacks a uniqueness and sophistication in the script. The superb sound track makes it a one-time watch, plus you get to see Dixit back on the stage, shaking her booty. Neha Kumar
